Making a Sustainable Impact: Our Volunteer Experience with the Friendlier Program

Volunteering for the Friendlier program at Humber Polytechnic gave us a deeper understanding of sustainability and its importance. We helped raise awareness about reducing single-use plastics by promoting reusable containers. Engaging with students showed us how small actions, like choosing reusable containers, can significantly impact the environment. The experience reminded us that sustainability is a shared responsibility, and everyone can contribute to making a difference.
